Dr. Colm Cosgrove

Dr. Cosgrove completed his medical degree at University College Dublin in 2008. Following internship in Dublin, he spent a year working in Emergency Medicine in Australia before returning to Ireland to complete Basic Specialist Training (BST) in General Medicine. 

Over the following decade working across major Dublin teaching hospitals, Dr. Cosgrove developed a dedicated focus on allergy medicine. He spent time participating in immunology based research as a Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Upon returning to Ireland, he gained extensive experience working across leading adult and pediatric hospitals in Dublin and earned his Fellowship of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP)

Dr. Cosgrove joined Allergy Ireland in 2020. Having completed the postgraduate diploma component, he is currently completing his Master’s Degree in Allergy and Clinical Immunology through University College Cork (UCC). He is a member of the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI)

In his spare time Dr. Cosgrove plays soccer for the St. Vincent's medical soccer team and he has represented the Irish medical soccer team overseas. He is very popular with patients and staff.
