Dr. Iseult Sheehan

Dr. Iseult Sheehan is the Clinical Director at Allergy Ireland. She earned her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), holds an honours degree in Biochemistry and Immunology from Trinity College Dublin, and completed a Master’s Degree in Allergy (with Distinction) at the University of Southampton, where she received the Dean's List honour and the AAIR Charity Sir Stephen Holgate Award for academic excellence.

​After training across major teaching hospitals in Ireland, Dr. Sheehan spent five years in Australia, expanding her expertise in allergic, dermatological, and respiratory conditions. While practicing in Tropical Queensland, she completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and gained Membership in the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP). Her background also includes research at the prestigious Salk Institute for Biological Studies in San Diego, and she was a named author on the subsequent publication in Nature Chemical Biology.

​Dr. Sheehan is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) and she spent several years lecturing and examining medical students at RCSI. A member of both the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI) and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), she regularly presents at national medical conferences and features across broadcast and print media as an expert voice in allergy medicine.

Dr. Sheehan is passionate about her work and much loved by patients.
